QAU Memo 2015-06: Petitions to Lift Revocation of Registration May Still Be Filed with SEC
On July 24, 2015, the SEC issued a press release applicable to all delinquent corporations regarding the subject above. In the press release, the SEC removed the previous deadline on December 31, 2015 within which petitions to set aside an order of revocation or suspension may be filed. Instead, affected corporations may file their petitions anytime as long as they comply with the requirements such as filing reports and paying the penalty. However, the petitions shall not apply to corporations whose certificates of registration had already finally been revoked or whose terms already expired.
